Racing, design, and 50 years heritage
3T was originally called Tecnologia del Tubo Torinese (Turin Tube Technology), taking its name from the city of Turin, Italy, where it was founded in 1961 by Mario Dedioniggi.

Five winning decades...the story goes on
3T is clear about its aim – to make cycle components that are strong, safe, light, and look great. Components that riders love. That's where we're coming from. Then and now, that's what we do!

Ergonova sets a new standard in comfort riding, appreciated by pros and amateurs. The top of the bar is egg-shaped in section – the longer radius provides a wider top surface for the hands. The egg shape rolls through 180° at the bend into the forward extension, placing the palms naturally on the brake hoods and ergonomic drops. The drops flare by 6°, so the width at the brake hoods is 16 mm narrower than the bar size. We developed this compact shape for day-long comfort on the bike. Ergonova Team has constant-thickness carbon-fiber walls and fits most clip-ons.

Ergosum is shallower than traditional drop bars, with a little more reach. 3T created the Ergosum bend to fit the latest brake-shifter levers. The bend’s tight radius at the brake lever mounts makes it easy to accurately adjust the reach and angle of the handhold. With so many riders now spending more time on the hoods, this shape has become the modern race standard.

Rotundo is a traditional, medium-deep, round drop bend. Many new drop bar shapes have appeared in the past 30 years, but some riders still love this enduring classic pattern for its control, handling, and versatility.

Tornova combines the plush comfort tops of Ergonova with the traditional round bends of Rotundo – a pattern many riders have been waiting for.  Two new features further enhance Tornova's comfort and convenience: internal cable routing, and stepped location for the brake/shifter units. The stepped-location feature molds a small downwards step above the shifter clamp, so the shifter tops align truly flat with the top of the bar. This makes for a more comfortable handhold. Internal routing aligns cables better, so the bar assembly is tidier and gear changes snappier.

Arx II is an evolution of the well-liked Arx alloy stem, which has found a place on every sort of bicycle since its launch in 2007. It’s a subtle refresh of this classic design. The faceplate is drawn in tighter at top and bottom, for a more ovalized frontal appearance, while retaining the cutout 3T logo. The sides of the extension are slightly flattened for a more ‘sculpted’ look by comparison with the tubular section of the first-generation Arx. A single M6 bolt clamps the stem to the fork steerer, in place of the twin M5 bolts used previously. Bolts are now the more-secure Torx-type fitment in place of the Allen bolts used previously. This Stealth version features our elegant Matte Black finish.
